We are witnessing an interesting twist in the case of the Minister of Defense, who, according to the current authorities, has committed at least high treason. It turns out that this "brilliant plan to defend Poland by giving half of its territory to the Russians" was well known not only to the Russians but also to the Chinese.
In his post on X, historian Professor Sławomir Cenckiewicz revealed that these plans were well known through leaks from those who now call Minister Blaszczak a traitor. They wrote about it in press articles, books, and online posts. Generals also did this. One even called the Minister of Defense a traitor who must suffer severe punishment.
The historian supported his thesis with quotes from the Russian press.
It will be interesting to see if the prosecution continues working on this case, as they clearly have no case.
The case looks like political revenge for bringing to the attention of regular people what Polish political elites were doing and that they were ready to give Russians half of the country.
