All day Friday most of the media trumpeted that economy is finally back on good tracks and everything will be better. Obama, of course, has confirmed that during a meeting with voters in Texas. How much truth is in that? Not much.
Still, many of my friends cannot find a job. Still, young people cannot find good jobs. The young people I know have jobs in different places (a few hours a week) and are unlikely to find a full-time work. People continue to lose their homes. House prices are still declining. It is very difficult to find a good apartment for rent because former home owners entered the market. The increasing cost of petrol has a negative impact on the budget of many families who have to give up the purchase of certain items including food. Unemployment, "fell" to 8.3 percent only because many people are unemployed longer then 99 weeks and now they are no longer taken into account. Just look around yourself around to see that we are being lied to.
