Coronavirus in Poland

As of this morning, 5/11/20, Poland has 16,206 infections and 803 deaths related to coronavirus.

Minister of Health, professor Łukasz Szumowski recommended holding vote-by-mail elections. I believe that the most secure form of elections during an epidemic is vote-by-mail and I believe that this is the only form that we can carry out during an epidemic. By Polish law the elections have to take place by August.

From May 6th , kindergartens and other forms of pre-school education can be opened. The local decision-making bodies make decisions on this matter, but they must follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.

Poland is preparing to reopen air and rail connections in international traffic. The transportation may require some time before it is fully restored. The Minister of Infrastructure, Andrzej Adamczyk, announced that an increase in the number of passengers in public transport will take place this week.
