Georgette Mosbacher, Ambassador of the United States of America in Poland tweeted on her official account: "Human Rights are not an ideology - they are universal. 50 Ambassadors and Representatives agree."
Polish politicians immediately reacted agreeing with the letter. One of them, Pawel Jablonski, Under Secretary of State wrote: "Polish law protects all people to the same extent: no one may be discriminated against in political, social or economic life - for any reason. We fully agree with this message of today's letter from ambassadors accredited in Warsaw."
The problem that LGBT+ activists may have, something that all those Ambassadors (including Ms Mosbacher) may have missed is that as Mr Jablonski wrote "no one may be discriminated". What they really want is being able to discriminate those who don't agree with them and simply to be above the law. They want to be able to beat the **** out of their opponents and not be prosecuted for it. Something that is happening right not in the case of now famous activist.
Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zbigniew Rau, said:
It is difficult to disagree that we stand for the defense of human rights and universal values. After all, this is guaranteed by our constitution, but also by political practice. It is hard to talk about it more.
