Half of the Belarusian army deployed to the Polish border

 Belarusian president, Lukashenka: "We have deployed practically half of the army, we actually control the borders with Lithuania and Poland and we have encircled Grodno."

Lukashenka emphasized that "there will be no peaceful life, but Belarus is fully determined to defend its sovereignty and independence" - wrote the Belarusian state agency Belta.

In a meantime, 26 people were arrested on Thursday during protests in Minsk, the Belarusian Ministry of the Interior informed on the Telegram. The Wiasna Center also informed about the detentions in other cities.
