The Visegrad Group spoke with the President of the European Commission

"The Visegrad Group presented our main postulates and views on fundamental problems"
- said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki after the meeting of the V4 prime ministers with the head of the European Commission.

All previous arrangements must be in force, emphasized Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Brussels today, referring to the established budget of the European Union for 2021-2027. He stressed that in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, these are funds that should reach the countries of the community as soon as possible.

"We want to avoid another lockdown, we want to maintain a balance between the strength of the economy, the pace of recovery from the crisis, and attention to all matters related to public health" - said Morawiecki.

"Today we presented proposals for Belarus that we agreed with the V4 Group. The plan was well received. It consists of very specific proposals. It gives Belarus the certainty that it will not be left to itself. The aid plan for Belarus is an international stabilization package, and infrastructure investments are part of the plan. We want to present it in a week's time at the European Council in Brussels" - he declared.

"Today's discussion was constructive - you can see that we are speaking with one voice on all the topics that have been discussed here."
