An unprecedented cyberattack on Poland is underway

The government spokesman, Piotr Müller, informed this morning in 'Polsat News' that Prime Minister asked Sejm (lower house) speaker Elżbieta Witek to convene a closed-door parliamentary session to present the scale of cyber attacks that have affected Poland.

"The scale of the attacks is severe, so... Prime Minister Morawiecki has asked the Sejm speaker to call a closed-door sitting of the house... to present the scale of these extensive attacks that are affecting Poland," - said the spokesman.

Later this morning Malgorzata Kidawa-Blonska, the deputy speaker of the Sejm, announced that the closed-door sitting would take place on Wednesday.

The coalition of opposition parties, Civic Coalition, is protesting against the secret form of the Sejm's deliberations in this matter. According to the coalition's politicians, all Poles should know about politicians' cybersecurity.
