It does seem like a coordinated attack on the “authoritarian regime” in Poland

Nobody likes to hear about oligarchs or someone who figured out how to create a one-party state without the hassle of staging a coup, but I can’t shake a feeling that it is a coordinated attack on the “authoritarian” Poland. It was started by former President Obama and is now being continued by an “independent” staff writer at The Atlantic who, in “disclosure,” mentioned that she is married to an opposition politician, Radek Sikorski, but forgot to add that he is still trying to get to the highest office in Poland. BTW, she also works for the leftist publication, The Washington Post, owned by our own “oligarch” who bought it to control the narrative about his business ventures because that would be the only explanation why a successful billionaire would buy a failing newspaper.

Full disclosure on my part: at some point, I wanted Sikorski to become the president of Poland and now praise the God that he didn’t. I changed my mind seeing his lack of compassion for the family of the late President of Poland, who died in the plane crash that seems more and more like an assassination.

One other point. If Poland is such an “authoritarian regime,” why didn’t they bury the news about this article instead of letting their own “regime” media write about (that led me to read it)? They must be evil to do so.

Why would I think it is a coordinated attack? Because it would be a convenient excuse to betray Poland, again, I should add, on the international stage. It would allow our great leaders: Joe Biden, Angela Merkel, and Vladimir Putin to remove it as the last obstacle from bringing the new Green Deal to Europe based on Russian gas pumped through the Nord Stream pipeline.

Please read the whole article, "The Disturbing New Hybrid of Democracy and Autocracy," and draw your own conclusions. If by any chance, Mrs. Applebaum is right about this oligarch, I hope he fails.
