Austria is testing a hydrogen bus from Poland


 In the coming days, the Solaris Urbino 12 Hydrogen bus will run on the routes of the city of Wels in  Austria. powered by electricity generated by hydrogen. The vehicle will be tested as part of the Hydro-Motion mobility project which is the result of cooperation between the federal state of Oberösterreich, the city of Wels, and Solaris, as well as organizations.

On August 10, a press conference was held in the town of Wels to present an innovative mobility project that is 100% climate-friendly. As part of the initiative of the government of the federal state of Oberösterreich (LINZ), a hydrogen bus of the Solaris brand will be tested on the lines of the city of Wels. The meeting, co-organized with the local representative of the company - Solaris Austria, is a symbolic opening of the tests of this model in Upper Austria. The Urbino Hydrogen tests will run until August 20, 2021.
