Eurostat: Poland is the second largest beer producer in the EU


 Poland was the second-largest beer producer in the European Union in 2020, according to data published on Thursday by the European Statistical Office, Eurostat.

The first place among the EU countries, where the largest amounts of beer are produced, was taken, not surprisingly, by Germany. The country is responsible for almost a quarter (24%) of all EU production (7.5 billion liters).

Poland, where 3.8 billion liters are brewed annually, accounts for 12 percent. EU beer production. Spain came third with 3.3 billion liters (10%).
