Polish Radio announced a list of 28 German commanders who were responsible for the ruining of Warsaw. In addition to gen. Von dem Bach-Zelewski, it included, among others Generals Rainer Stahel and Heinz Reinefarth.

General von dem Bach-Zelewski's appeals to the inhabitants of Warsaw placing the responsibility for the fiasco of Polish-German negotiations on the command of the Home Army.

The day was marked by the fights for Czerniaków. The Germans decided to use most of their forces to capture the district, putting an end to fights in other parts of the city.
The Czerniaków district is under fire all day long, and German bombers appear over the district. Artillery fire ignites fires throughout.
