FM: Russian criminals will be punished, and Poland will never recognize the territorial changes in Ukraine

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met Poland's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau on Saturday in the Polish city of Rzeszow, near to the Ukrainian border that hundreds of thousands of people have crossed since Russia began invading Ukraine.

"Poland will never recognize territorial changes caused by unprovoked, unlawful aggression. The way Russia is conducting military operations is a crime against international law. Punishing war criminals must be considered in future peace negotiations," - said Zbigniew Rau, during a press conference attended by Antony Blinken.

"Russia is carrying out military operations based on a desire to break the will of the Ukrainians by attacks intimidating civilians, shelling at housing estates, nuclear power plants. It is a crime under international law that will be prosecuted with all determination" - said the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs.

During the same meeting, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that the administration of the US President, Joe Biden, asked Congress for approval to transfer USD 2.75 billion to support humanitarian services in Ukraine and Poland.
