Poland to propose Ukraine peacekeeping mission at next NATO summit

After a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky and Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Szmyhal, Deputy Prime Minister Kaczyński said that Ukraine needs peace and humanitarian mission by NATO and other organizations, which would also be able to defend itself.

Poland talks with other Countries and will submit the proposal at the next NATO summit. Polish Minister of National Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak, communicated this proposal at a meeting with the defense ministers of NATO.

There was a positive reaction to this proposal from the Danish defense minister, Morten Bodskov, who said that "the Danish government is ready to send troops to Ukraine as part of a peacekeeping mission if it can contribute to ending this bloody war."
