Russian spy detained in Poland

 According to the Polish Military Counterintelligence Service (SKW) materials, the Military Police detained a Russian citizen suspected of acting on behalf of Russian intelligence.

The man, acting on behalf of the Russian services, carried out activities to the detriment of the Republic of Poland. The detainment took place on April 6 this year. The evidence collected by the SKW shows that the man obtained information on the combat readiness of the Polish Armed Forces and NATO troops at the request of the Russian intelligence services. The detainee was transferred to the prosecutor's office, where he heard the charge of committing the offense of espionage - informs the spokesman of the minister coordinator of secret services.

The suspect was a businessman and has lived in Poland for 18 years.

Extensive evidence has been secured in the investigation and is currently being analyzed. At the request of the prosecutor's office, the court decided to detain the detained for three months.
