#StopRussiaNow. New campaign of PM Morawiecki to awaken the consciences of West

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki today initiated the #StopRussiaNow campaign to remind people of the incessant crimes committed by Russians against the Ukrainian population.

"Too soon our partners in Western Europe would like to return to the ruts of normality. There are no more ruts, no return to normal. We cannot go over the bestial murder on the agenda," - said the head of Polish government.

He stressed that the aim of the campaign is to make it "the scream of those who were brutally murdered in the streets of Ukrainian towns and villages".

"We cannot get back to our daily agenda. It is a testimony to our humanity as we react to what happened in Ukraine" - added Mateusz Morawiecki.

Asked by journalists about the details of his visit to Germany, the prime minister said: "Seeing the crimes taking place in Ukraine, we have a special mandate to awaken the consciences of Western Europe."

"Germany, France, Austria, Italy, these countries must do as much as possible to stop the war in Ukraine. To withhold funding for Putin's war machine. That is why I will actually talk to various people in Germany, most likely also to the chancellor (Olaf Scholz)."
