Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi came to Kyiv to meet with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. She is the highest-ranking American politician who has visited Kyiv since the beginning of the war. The meeting took place yesterday. Along with Pelosi came three members of the House - Jason Crow (D), Jim McGovern (D), and Adam Schiff (D).
The talks focused on topics such as security, the issue of humanitarian aid, economic support, and the reconstruction of Ukraine after the victory.
As Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland announced in a Sunday post on Twitter, President Andrzej Duda is to meet with Pelosi on Monday.
The Speaker of the House will also meet with the Speaker of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek, the Sejm Information Center reported on Sunday.
