President of Poland: Russia openly threatens Baltic states and Poland

"Russia is a threat to NATO countries, especially those on the eastern flank. Russia is openly threatening Baltic states, and we have heard many times statements threatening Poland as well. I would like this to be reflected in the decisions of this summit," - said President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda before the start of the NATO summit in Madrid.

Official deliberations of the summit of the North Atlantic Alliance begin today in Madrid. Before the beginning of the meeting, President Andrzej Duda reported in an interview with journalists that there were many behind-the-scenes talks regarding the current situation.

During this year's NATO summit with the participation of, among others, President of the United States Joe Biden, President of Poland Andrzej Duda, and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, a new Strategic Concept is to be adopted that will contain the goals and tasks of the Alliance for the next decade.
