YouTube blocked the transmission of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on EWTN channel

The YouTube platform, without warning, blocked for at least 48 hours (it seems to be working now) the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) Poland television channel, which hosts, inter alia, constant adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Press release from the editorial office of EWTN Poland Catholic television:

Wrocław, October 24, 2022

On October 22, 2022, Google Inc. turned off the EWTN Polska Catholic television channel, located on the YouTube platform, without any warning.

For 4 years now, the EWTN television channel has been gathering nearly one million users per month on the daily continuous adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, broadcast live from the Chapel in Niepokalanów. This chapel played a remarkable role during the Covid-19 epidemic, sustaining and giving hope to millions of people around the world.

The EWTN Polska channel, which is subscribed to by 146,000 people, has 4,500 video materials.

On April 10, 2021, the channel was suspended for "violating community rules," which was then reinstated 24 hours after our viewers and the international community intervened.

This time, the channel was completely disabled without warning, without any correspondence or information, contrary to the regulations and rules set by YouTube.

EWTN Polska complied with all appeal procedures provided for in such a situation. Contacts with the technical department of Google and the technical department of YouTube as well as representatives of the Management Board of Google Europe did not help.

Their disclosure of the reasons for the closure of the channel is mutually exclusive. One time it is a "community violation," another time it is a "hijacking (by a third party) of a Google account to send SPAM", another time it is a "YouTube channel hijack."

Whatever the reason, our requests to restore the channel have been ignored for more than 48 hours.

In this difficult situation, we ask for prayer and support.

Looking at the screenshot of the channel, I am trying to figure out which part of it breaks YouTube's (and Google's) rules. One praying person too many? Too much yellow light?
