EU adopted the migration pact! Poland and Hungary were against

The interior ministers of the European Union countries agreed on the so-called migration pact introducing, for example, mandatory relocations of migrants or penalties (EUR 22,000 per migrant) for countries that do not want to accept foreign arrivals, Polish MEP, former Prime Minister Beata Szydło tweeted.

Polish Radio 24 reports that the decision was made in Luxembourg by the majority of votes of the ministers of internal affairs of the member states after several hours of negotiations.

Poland and Hungary were against, Bulgaria, Malta, Lithuania and Slovakia abstained.
