Poland is among the top EU countries with the lowest poverty

According to Eurostat data, the poverty rate for Poland is one of the three most favorable in the entire EU. Only the Czechs (11.8% of the population at risk of poverty) and Slovenes (13.3%) fare better.

Compared to 2015, the percentage of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion decreased in Poland by 6.6 percentage points.

Importantly, the risk of poverty among children has also decreased significantly. In 2015, this percentage was 23.1 percent, and in 2022 - 14.1 percent.

According to Eurostat data, in 2022, 95.3 million people in the European Union were at risk of poverty or social exclusion. That's as much as 22 percent. population!

What does it mean? It turns out that despite complaints from opposition parties, Poland compared to other EU countries, looks absolutely sensational!
