News portal Wprost(.)pl reports: In recent days, politicians from the Law and Justice (PiS) have not spared the leader of the opposition Civic Platform, Donald Tusk. But his recent post suggesting that "PiS is seeking the help of Wagnerians (soldiers from Wagner Group) out of fear of the elections" caused quite a stir on social media.
After PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński called him a "red enemy of the nation," Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki added his voice. On Sunday, Morawiecki harshly assessed Donald Tusk's political activity. He tweeted the European People's Party (EPP) asking to "take your man back to Brussels."
"Just as the leader of the Party of Cheaters did not see his colleague from the Sopot pier (referring to his infamous meeting with Putin) attacking and occupying the Crimea and Donbas, he now sees no real threat to Poland," said Mateusz Morawiecki. "He always looks after the interests of his principals. He hid behind Angela Merkel's skirt when Germany and Russia were building Nord Stream 2," he added.
Deputy Minister of Justice Sebastian Kaleta stated on social media that "unfortunately, but in such an important matter as border security, Donald Tusk is again looking for political fuel." "By accusing the authorities of de facto fomenting the conflict, he gives Putin and Lukashenko the weapon to carry out provocative actions, for which, thanks to Tusk's words, they can accuse the Polish side. The stench of betrayal," he wrote.
