WPolityce(.)pl: Officers of the Internal Security Agency (ABW) detained a sixteenth person who was supposed to take part in the activities of a spy network working for Russia in Poland, Polish Press Agency has learned.
The man detained on August 1 by the Internal Security Agency is a 39-year-old citizen of the Republic of Belarus, Mikhail A.
According to the findings, the man worked in Moscow in 2008-2010, and later moved to Saint Petersburg. In Russia he served a six-year sentence.
According to ABW, Mikhail A. came to Poland in 2021 and made contact with the coordinator of the spy network.
His performed reconnaissance of critical infrastructure, including military areas and facilities as well as seaports.
