The agreement on the Javelin system does not mean resignation from the preparation of Pirate anti-tank missiles, which are being developed at Mesko SA. The Pirate is on the certification path and is intended to fill a "different gap" in the market than the Javelin.

Javelins will be produced in Poland
Defence24(.)pl: Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) and Javelin Joint Venture (JJV) have concluded an agreement regarding the production of the Javelin anti-tank system in Poland. Mesko SA is to be responsible for the implementation of the project. The agreement was concluded during the 31st International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce.
