Largest Polish newspaper compiles lists of people to be fired because they worked for or supported the PiS government

Niezalezna(.)pl: The largest Polish newspaper that supports the socialist parties, "Gazeta Wyborcza," creates lists of people who have been employed in public institutions or companies in recent years.

The parliamentary elections and the balance of power in the new parliament give a good chance that the current opposition will form a government and that Law and Justice will lose power after eight years of rule. The circles that sympathize with the opposition and the media that support it do not hide their satisfaction.

Shortly after the elections, "Gazeta Wyborcza" launched the "We already thank you" campaign.

"With the democratic opposition taking power, Poland will experience a great personnel change. Who will probably lose their job?" Reporters of "Gazeta Wyborcza" present them in the series "We already thank you" - we read on the website of "Wyborcza".

In addition, an e-mail address is included, which can be contacted if readers feel that "someone is missing from the list."

The pages of the newspaper have already published lists of people from several regions of Poland who performed various public functions or sat in various companies in the years 2015-2023.

Polonia News: This is a reminder of what was happening when the Soviet army entered Poland both in 1939 and 1945 with such a list (people to be summarily executed) and when the Russian army was entering Eastern Ukraine and Crimea.

Traditionally, such lists were compiled in secret by the activists of the Communist Party, but now the media, such as Wyborcza, are doing that for them. The fact that they form such lists in "broad daylight" is astonishing.
