Poland is the leader in terms of silver deposits

According to the latest "Mineral Commodity Summaries" report prepared by the United States Geological Survey, over the last year Poland has leapfrogged China, Australia and Peru to become the leader in global silver resources. These are estimated to be as much as 170,000. tone.

The deposits Poland has at its disposal will last for 130 years at the current level of extraction.

Polish KGHM is the world's second largest silver producer, second to the Mexican company Freniscillo PLC.
