Serious accusation: European Parliament pays for political ads in Poland. Rule of Law much???

 On Monday, the main page of the Wirtualna Polska (Virtual Poland) portal published material entitled 'Voters from Podlasie are furious. Wąsik and Kamiński in the European Parliament? ' Let them look for a job.

It was signed as "sponsored content."

Maciej Wąsik, one of the politicians attacked in the material, posted a question for the portal's editor-in-chief:

- Mr. Editor, who paid you for throwing mud at Mariusz Kamiński and me as part of "sponsored material"? Is it a normal custom in Wirtualna Polska that you take money for black PR?

The material published on the website is a video recording from a street probe. At the begining of the video, the first board already informs us that "The material was created in cooperation with the European Parliament."

- This scandal must be resolved as soon as possible. It turns out that the European Parliament's money is behind the campaign slandering me and Mariusz Kamiński on the WP website. No Polish political party can consent to such practices – wrote Wąsik.

- It turns out that the European Parliament, a foreign political institution, influences the course of elections in Poland by financing black PR directed against politicians of the Polish parliamentary opposition - he added.

PoloniaNews (PN): I took "a pain" to translate some of the visuals in the post financed by the European Parliament. Here it is:

Wąsik and Kamiński on the PiS's list to the European Parliament? Voters from Podlasie comment: "They should find normal jobs."

Tragedy. If Poles vote for them, it means that they approve of fraud, theft, and lies. For me, these are depressed people. What career can they make there, unless so they are not pursued here - our interlocutor said furiously when we asked her about the candidacies of former PiS MPs Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik in the European Parliament elections...

Maciej Wąsik declared that the matter will not end with posts on X.

PN: Right under the post, there is very small print that, in essence, says that while the material is sponsored by the European Parliament (EP) under program sponsoring communication, the EP should not be held responsible for the content.

- Based on reporting by Niezalezna.

* Law and Justice (PiS)

** Wąsik and Kamiński - were the "first political prisoners in Poland" after communism collapsed.

*** Did we mention that the post was sponsored by the European Parliament? Let that sink in.

**** Just in case the "rule-of -law" people in the EU have any ideas: This post is mostly our opinion covered by the FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
