Polish soldiers were again attacked on the Polish-Belarusian border by migrants. They were injured and taken to hospital. Both suffered facial injuries.
The Border Guard announced on Friday that on Wednesday a group of foreigners on the Belarusian side attacked Polish soldiers protecting the border.
"Aggressive foreigners, located behind the technical barrier, attacked Polish services several times. As a result of aggressive behavior, two soldiers were injured and taken to hospital," – said Chief Warrant Officer Michał Bura.
He added that the migrants had dangerous objects and tools with them, which they threw at the soldiers. Two of them suffered facial injuries.
Bura reported that the soldiers were taken to hospital, where they received surgical assistance. They left the hospital on Wednesday.
