The sensors at the border crossing near the Polish village of Zosin and the Ukrainian town of Ustyluh detected a heavily radiated passenger vehicle. The upscale SUV Mercedes G 500 showed maximum contamination of the structure. The largest contamination was in the passenger section near the rear wheels.
The International Atomic Energy Agency was notified of the incident.
