The Ombudsman emphasized that he is obliged to use this concept in accordance with the definition of international law.

Officials of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights indicated, among others: long hours of interrogations without rest, deprivation of a nutritious meal, use of rigid handcuffs and insufficient access to the defense represention for Olszewski.

The spokesman announced that the Ombudsman's official assessment in this matter will most likely be presented on Monday.

PN: This week is ending badly for Donald Tusk's government. Yesterday, the former minister obtained asylum in another European country. Today, the Ombudsman confirms the bad and illegal treatment of Father Olszewski. Fr. Olszewski was even once considered a political prisoner. Today's reports seem to confirm the allegations of the minister seeking political asylum that there is no longer the rule of law in Poland. The only question is what the European Union will do now.
