Wpolityce(.)pl: The Board of the Association of Polish Journalists decided to award the titles of Hyenas of the Year 2023 to the author of the TV report "Franciszkańska 3" shown on TVN24, and the author of the book "Maxima culpa. John Paul II knew" published by the Agora publishing house, the Association of Polish Journalists informed.
"Hyena of the Year" is a title awarded by SDP to journalists who have distinguished themselves with particular unreliability and disregard for the principles of journalistic ethics.
"Journalistic investigation" conducted by Marcin Gutowski and Ekke Overbeek is an ahistorical interpretation and ahistorical assessment of the materials of the Security Office and the Security Service, which are now in the archives of the Institute of National Remembrance. The events and documents discussed in the above-mentioned publications are selected unilaterally, and the data of the persons who are to be key witnesses in this case are, despite the passage of years, anonymized and therefore unreliable.
