President Andrzej Duda announced the convening of the National Security Council on Monday. He announced this after a meeting with General Kellogg. Earlier, Andrzej Duda talked with Pete Hegseth.
– We have had two important meetings with US representatives. I can confidently say that I have a full overview of the situation when it comes to the current actions taken by the US. I want to reassure my compatriots. America has entered the game strongly, I expect that there will be at least a cessation of aggression, and I hope that the war will end completely. It is obvious to us that this war cannot end with a Russian victory and a just peace must be established, - said the president after his conversation with General Kellogg.
– We have been assured that there are absolutely no American intentions to reduce the number of American soldiers in Poland. On the contrary, I hope it will increase. I hope that the actions of the United States will bring peace and tranquility. We continue our cooperation with the USA and I hope that it will continue after the end of my presidency.
