Nawrocki deeply disappointed with President Zelensky

On Monday, the president of
Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) was a guest on Trwam TV. Karol Nawrocki devoted a lot of time to relations with Ukraine, which have not been the best for some time. The presidential candidate admitted that he was disappointed with the Ukrainian leader and the government in Kiev. He stated that the IPN has not yet received permission to exhume Poles murdered by the Ukrainian Insurgent Army during World War II. This is just one of several issues that have become a cause of conflict between the two countries.

– Polish farmers today face unequal competition from Ukraine. Polish transport companies face unequal competition from Ukraine – said Nawrocki.

The head of the IPN recalled the support that Ukrainian refugees received from Poles from the very beginning of the Russian invasion and the actions taken by the Polish government, which helped the Ukrainian army withstand the first attack of the aggressor. For this help, Poland "received nothing".

- Ukraine is indeed not treating us as partners. I am deeply disappointed with President Zelensky. He behaved in a way he should never have behaved towards the Polish state - Nawrocki pointed out.
