Polish military shot down several Russian drones

The Operational Command of Polish Armed Forces announced that during today's massive attack by the Russian Federation on targets located in the territory of Ukraine, Polish airspace was repeatedly violated by drones.

On the order of the Operational Commander, weapons were used, and the relevant services are carrying out activities related to finding and securing the remains of the downed drones.

Sources say that as many as four drones were shot down.

Four Polish airports, including Chopin Airport in Warsaw, were closed overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday due to "unplanned military activity related to ensuring national security," the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced.

Territorial Defence Forces (WOT) have been activated for the purpose of ground searches for downed drones, the head of the Ministry of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, announced on social media.
