In January, the Central Anticorruption Bureau detained Anna W., her husband, and Paweł K., the owner of the PR agency. Anna's husband, Marek W., was recently released. The woman remains in custody. Their 13-year-old son is seriously ill and requires the care of his mother. There have been reports that he attempted to commit suicide recently. But, as it turned out, that's not all.
On March 31, 2025, the prosecutor filed a motion with the District Court for Warsaw Praga, 5th Family and Minors Division, requesting the issuance of a guardianship order concerning Anna's son due to a possible threat to the minor's well-being.
"The attempt to intimidate her and her husband by taking away their disabled child if she does not testify against PiS is crossing all boundaries," writes MEP Patryk Jaki (PiS).
PN: I remember reports during the communist regime of the children being taken away from the parents who dared to oppose the government. Now that the same people (or their children) have returned to power, their ways are coming back too.
