As Prime Minister emphasized, by 2030 the road program will create a coherent infrastructure whole on a national scale, and all Polish regions will be connected by a network of modern roads.
Thanks to the program, around 2,000 km (1,400 miles) of new expressways will be created, so that the total Polish network of expressways in 2030 will reach 8,000 km (4,900 miles), which will limit the communication exclusion.
The government wants to allocate approximately PLN 290 billion ($74B) for this program over the next 10 years, with as much as 80% coming from the Polish budget, and 20% from the EU budget under the 2021-2027 financial perspective.
